About Us

About Southampton Kirtan

We are a group of yogis that live together in Southampton as a community with the shared passion on a path of sound.

The intention of our practice is to truly commune in the space of stillness through intense, original  expression.

Our emphasis is on participation rather than performance, so we try to encourage even the shyest individuals to find their voice.

We are also friends of the Saadho community, companions from all over the world dancing in togetherness yet rooted in the self.

Our Experiences so far

We hold fortnightly Kirtans in Southampton and have experience of playing Kirtans with groups of up to 100 people.

Recently we were in Auroville, Pondicherry, India where we shared 7 Kirtans during the 10 days we were there.

We have also played at Sark Roots festival 2017 and have been invited back in September 2018.

We are available to share at events, festivals, yoga schools or any suitable setting and can offer the following

  • Kirtan
  • Workshops
  • One-to-one Instrument and vocal sessions
  • Yoga or meditation classes
  • Retreats

If these words resonate and you are interested in collaborating, hosting or just talking with us about this, we would love to hear from you. For those who already love and practice Kirtan, we would really love to meet you and explore this with you further.
